We realized suction of seven robotic workplace as a subcontractor of the Valk Welding company at the end of the year 2019. Project was realized for the SMR Plus company from Bzenec which makes the specific metal pallets. Suction was sorted out by the industrial suction hoods and a axial fan. The whole system was designed at maximum suction volume 22 000 m3/h and also has fluent control system on the base of fan frequency.
If welding robot welds, fan will operated at particular RPM. When the other welding robot starts to weld, a frequency converter will increase fan operation frequency and it mens the suction volume will be also increased. When a fan operates at the maximum operation frequency, there is not possible to increase suction volume. It can cause a issue, because the whole system was not designed for full suction load of seven weld robots according customer requirements.
